By now, I hope you’ve heard of linkbait as a marketing technique to promote your blog. (If not, let me know and if there are a lot of you, maybe I’ll do another post on the basics.) For those of you who know what linkbait is and use it to promote your website, then here is a roundup of some recent blog posts around the web about linkbait. Enjoy.
Rand over at SEOMoz Blog has a good post about the long term value of linkbait – why it’s going to be useful for a long time to come.

I’m not sure exactly how long Greg Finn has been doing this, but he put together a list of good topics that might be worthy for linkbait in October. It’s not a long post, but it has a good show of the topics that are most likely to be hot (and linkbait worthy) this October.
